Niger Assembley: Ousmane Sonko Reforms Cabinet with Ten New Appointments

The President of the National Assembly, Ousmane Sonko, has officially announced a new wave of appointments to his cabinet.

This reorganization is based on several high-ranking officials who have held positions in the government. In total, ten new members will join the president’s team.

The individuals appointed include:

  • Daouda Ngom, former Minister
  • Amadou Moustapha Ndieck Sarré, former Minister
  • Khady Diène Gaye, former Minister
  • Alioune Sall, former Minister
  • Maïmouna Dièye, former Minister
  • Amadou Chérif Diouf, former Secretary of State
  • Fatou Diouf, former Minister
  • Alpha Ba, former Secretary of State
  • Ibrahima Thiam, former Secretary of State
  • Sidy Alpha Ndiaye, former Minister and Deputy Cabinet Director to the President of the Republic

The new appointments are part of a broader effort to strengthen the president’s team as he assumes his new role at the head of the National Assembly.
