Psg targets akliouche as summer transfer priority

With all attention fixed on the 2026 Fifa World Cup, Paris Saint-Germain are already mapping out their summer transfer window. Gonçalo Ramos is expected to depart, while sporting advisor Luis Campos is targeting at least three new signings. One of those could be a rising star from Ligue 1.

In recent years, PSG have radically shifted their transfer strategy. The era of blockbuster signings and superstars is over; the Parisian club now focuses on emerging talents, honing their development through a post-formation model that has already paid off. Players like Désiré Doué and João Neves are prime examples—young gems who have become undisputed starters in Paris.

Akliouche set for exit

The trend looks set to continue with a young attacking midfielder from Ligue 1: Maghnes Akliouche. Tracked by PSG last summer, he appears poised to move during this window. However, the France international has kept his cards close to his chest. “What matters to me is enjoying myself, continuing to be happy on the pitch and keeping my sky blue,” he said a few months ago. “I want to bring joy to people, to my teammates, to repay Monaco’s trust. Above all, I want to keep progressing and become more decisive. Talking about anything else makes no sense today.”

Psg in pole position

Currently at the 2026 World Cup with the France national team, Akliouche will eventually have to address his future. Reports indicate he is highly likely to leave AS Monaco this summer, with several clubs tracking him. PSG are among the contenders and are considered the frontrunners to secure the deal. Meanwhile, Monaco are reportedly waiting for an offer for the player, who is valued at around €50 million.
